The Horse Fair in the village of Novotyryshkino in Smolensk District has celebrated its 200th anniversary. The traditions of one of the oldest fairs of the Altai Krai were revived five years ago on Siberian Farmstead. Just like at the beginning of XIX century, these days this place gathers not only horsemen and breeders, but also artisans ready to offer customers everything from souvenirs with exquisite paintings on stone to forging and handmade harnesses.

A few pedestrian bridges across the Moscow River in the city centre might appear in Moscow. It is proposed to connect Krasnokholmskaya and Kosmodamianskaya embankments near the House of Music by a pedestrian bridge. It would be logical to establish pedestrian connection also with the business centre Moskva-City Chernashkina noted.

Our choice, our opinion
New Yorks Lark Play Development Center & Moscows Lyubimovka Festival recently conspired to have several great American plays be translated and adapted for the Russian stage. I was tapped to translate and adapt Arthur Kopits Wings. After Arthur and the other playwrights participating in the workshop flew in, we took my first draft and worked on the adaptation together, alongside director Daniel Romanov and a wonderful cast with the great Varvara Pushkarskaya in the lead.

David has been living in Moscow for 15 years. He first came to Moscow as an intern to get his teaching English as a foreign language license. Since then he traveled to his home town only once. Moscow has become a home to him, he says.
